Equestrian Wins Reserve High Point Team, Neal Qualifies for Regional Championship

The MGA Equestrian Team spent the weekend in Gainsville, FL competing in the University of Florida's home IHSA horse show. Jamie Wilder earned third in her Open Reining class and sixth in her Open Horsemanship class. Emma Rawlins earned sixth in her Intermediate II horsemanship class. Hunter Holland earned second in Beginner Horsemanship class A. Sarah Andrews Rucker won first place in Beginner Horsemanship class.  Kyra Neal earned second in Beginner Horsemanship class.  Kyra also earned enough points that, added with her points from last year, moved her up to the Intermediate I class for the next day's show. 

On Sunday, the second day of showing,  the MGA Equestrian Team won Reserve High Point Team, placing them 2nd out of 10 teams. Jamie Wilder won second in the Open reining class and fifth in the Open Horsemanship class. Emma Rawlins earned third in her Intermediate II Horsemanship class. Kyra Neal won first in her Intermediate I Horsemanship class. Sarah Andrews Rucker won first is the Beginner Horsemanship class. Hunter Holland also won his Beginner Horsemanship class.
