Equestrian Members Earn Two 1st Place Finishes, 4 Now Qualified for Regionals

Orlando, FL - The Middle Georgia Equestrian team had a terrific weekend at the University of Central Florida's IHSA Western show.  The team had 2 members with first place finishes in their class, one 2nd, one 3rd, a 4th, 2 in 5th place, and 1 in 6th.  Classes of competitions included one in Open Reigning and Open Horsemanship, one at Novice, three in the Intermediate, and 2 Beginner.

The newest member Catherine Ikner placed first in her Novice class. This was her first weekend showing with the Middle Georgia Equestrian team.

Intermediate One rider Sarah Andrews Rucker also got first in her class.

Jamie Wilder got third in her Open reigning class and fifth in her Open horsemanship.

Intermediate two riders Blaire Meldrum, Kyra Neal, and Emma Rawlins got 2nd, 5th, and 5th respectively in their classes.

Intermediate One rider Hunter Holland got 4th in his class.

Fatima Sledd and Bradley Lee got 5th and 6th.

Kyra Neal qualifies for regionals by pointing out of her Intermediate division into the Novice Division. Middle Georgia's Equestrian team now has four riders going to regionals.
