MOBILE, AL - The Women's Tennis team's season ended on Thursday, May 16 with a 5-1 loss to Keiser University in the Elite 8 of the NAIA National Championship in Mobile, Alabama.  The women achieved the team's highest ranking since joining the NAIA with a #7 ranking at the end of the season and were the runners up in the SSAC Regular season and Tournament.  The Knights received several SSAC Awards this year including SSAC Freshman of the Year with Maike Nagele.  The team finished with an overall record of 12-6 and went 5-1 in SSAC play.

The Knights had 5 seniors on their roster who each played a full 4 years for the Knights and just graduated at the end of the semester.  Coach Bates, who has twice been named women's tennis SSAC Coach of the Year in the past 4 years, will be looking to reload the team for the 2020 season and to look for another appearance in the NAIA National Championship.
