The Knights traveled to Americus, Georgia to take on the NCAA DII Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes in their final game before conference play starts on Thursday. The Knights held close but were defeated 80-65 in the end. The Knights were down by two point at the end of the first quarter and held steady to go into the half still down by two. The Knights came out of the half and jumped on the Hurricanes early to get a six point lead but then went cold as the Hurricanes were up 12 at the end of the third quarter. The Knights closed the gap down to five points in the fourth but could not complete the comeback as they went on to lose 80-65. Joy Sadler another double-double with 25 points and 12 rebounds and Aliyah Thomas added 19 points. The Knights outrebounded the Hurricanes 39-34 but lost the turnover battle 26-15. The Knights now head into conference play with a record of 4-2 and will take on Martin Methodist on Thursday, November 21 in Pulaski, Tennessee. That game will start at 6:30 PM EST.
