The Knights played their second game of the conference road trip against Dalton State as the Knights looked to make it 2 for 2 in conference play. The Knights started off the game well as they jumped out to a seven point lead with 16:08 left in the first half but cooled off as they went into the halftime break only up by two points, shooting 59% from the field and 80% from the free throw line. Michael Graham had 13 points and 7 rebounds at the half to lead the team. The second half would wind up being a back and forth battle as both teams wanted to get the win. The score would end up tied at 71 at the end of the second half to force overtime. In overtime, the Knights went down on the scoreboard until the very end of overtime as Jahwan Smith would hit a 3-pointer with three seconds left to seal the overtime victory for the Knights. The victory pushes the Knights record to 6-2 (2-0 SSAC) as Antony Edwards led the Knights with 20 points and Graham contributed 17 points. The Knights finished the game shooting 54% from the field and 81% from the free throw line as they were able to overcome the 19-13 turnover margin. The Knights next game will come after the Thanksgiving break as they travel to Denmark, South Carolina to take on the Voorhees College Tigers on Wednesday, December 4. That game will start at 7 PM EST.
