Late Goal Ends Knights Upset Bid

The Knights Men's Soccer team went into Friday night looking to bounce back from their loss against Johnson & Wales as they hosted the #12 Grizzlies from Georgia Gwinnett. The Knights would give the opening goal in the 28th minute but a goal from Callum Bryan in the 32nd minute would tie things back up. The score would stay tied at 1-1 through halftime until the 87th minute when the Grizzlies were able to put the go ahead and eventual game-winning goal in the back of the net. Ernesto Corral would wind up getting a red card after the game was over. The Knights will look to bounce back as they host NCAA DII opponent Georgia Southwestern on Tuesday, September 10. The Knights currently hold a 5-game winning streak over the Hurricanes.
