Equestrian Shows Well at University of Florida Western Show

GAINESVILLE, FL - The Middle Georgia Equestrian team completed their double header show this weekend with impressive stats. The first day open rider Jamie Wilder achieved Reserve High Point Rider by placing fifth in Reining and first in Open Horsemanship. One of our Intermediate riders, Kyra Neal, achieved second place, and Hunter Holland, one of the beginner riders, received first place.

The following day, Sunday, The team scored overall 3rd place. Hunter Holland pointed out of his division by collecting a total of 36 points thus far in this season. This qualifies him for competing in the year end Regional Championship Show. He is now competing in Intermediate. The rest of the Team displayed excellent horsemanship with Emma Rawlins placing first in Intermediate, Sarah Andrews Rucker also placed first in her Beginner class. Our newest member, Blaire Meldrum, placed 4th in her INtermediate 2 class and Bradley Lee, and Fatimah Sledd placed 2nd, and 5th respectively in their Beginner classes as well. Middle Georgia Equestrian Team is off to an amazing start to this semester.
