Equestrian Receives Team Reserve High Point, Wilder Earns High Point Rider at FSU Show

TALLAHASSEE, FL - The Equestrian team made huge strides in their second year as a club at Middle Georgia with a strong showing Saturday, February 2nd at the Florida State University Show.  The team came into the day at 3rd in the region and looked to continue to move forward.  At the end of the day the Team received Reserve High Point Team, and Jamie Wilder received High Point Rider of the Show.

Wilder, riding in the open class, qualified for the Regional Show in both Open Reining and Open Horsemanship. She also placed first in both of those classes.

Beginner rider Sarah Andrews Rucker also qualified for the regional horse show by pointing out of her Beginner class.

Intermediate two riders Kyra Neal and Emma Rawlins received second and first in their respective classes.  Kyra Neal qualified for Regionals in a prior show from the fall semester.

Intermediate one rider Hunter Holland also won his class on the way to qualifying for Regioinals.

Bradley Lee and Timah Sledd got second and sixth respectively in their beginner classes.

Currently, the Knights have qualified Wilder, Rucker, Neal, and Holland for the regional show later this month and with shows on February 9 and 10, there are opportunities to qualify more.
