MONTGOMERY, AL - The Knights men's basketball program went to overtime for the fourth time this season in order defeat the Faulkner University Eagles, 95-90. The Knights came back from a six point halftime deficit to force overtime and outsocred the Eagles 19-14 in the extra period to move to 11-5 on the season, 6-5 in SSAC play, and 4-0 in overtime games. The Knights were led by Darrell White with 28 points of which 14 were from the charity stripe going 14-16 from the line and four of his five field goals were from three-point land. Chancellor Lockett had a season-high 15 points as did De'Miria Glover with 14.
The Knights will be back on the road Thursday, January 24 at Blue Mountain College (Miss.) and Saturday the 26th at Bethel Univeristy (Tenn.) before returning home on Thursday, January 31st to host the Martin Methodist College RedHawks after the women's game at 5:30 PM that day.
