Men's Tennis Wins 9-0 At SCAD-Savannah

SAVANNAH, GA - The #6 men's tennis team defeated the SCAD-Savannah Bees 9-0 on Thursday, March 21st sweeping the match for the 7th time in their last 8 matches.  The Knights are now 9-2 on the season with 9 straight wins and are 7-1 against ranked teams.  In the last 7 matches, the Knights have won 51 points of a possible 52.

Syromolotov/Otero took #3 doubles for the 1st point of the match followed by #1 then #2 for a 3-0 lead after doubles.  Jimmy Merah was the first singles to finish with a 6-4, 6-1 win at #2 followed by Tamola at #4, Romeo at #6, Prada at #5, Freitas at #3 and finally Syromolotov at #1.  

The Knights will host #21 Northwestern Ohio at the John Drew Smith Tennis Center in Macon, Ga on Friday, March 22nd at 11:00 AM for their next match.  The Knights are also 4-0 in SSAC play with 2 SSAC matches remaining on April 5 against Martin Methodist and Bethel.  A win in both matches will clinch the SSAC Regular Season title for the Knights.
