Women's Soccer Ranked Fifth in Preseason Poll

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - Defending NAIA National Champion William Carey (Miss.) was picked first in the 2019 SSAC Women's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Poll.

The Knights will look to keep up the momentum from last season as they were able to finish fourth in conference play and are only separated by one point in the polls. Coach Vinny Gill returns 2 Juniors and 10 Sophomores including Second Team All-Conference selections Hannah Theriault and Anna Hieronymus as the Knights push for more success in the conference tournament which included a semifinal appearance last season. The Knights open the season at Webber international on August 23 and open the home season against the Point University Skyhawks on August 28 at 5 pm EST at Nesmith Field.
