Cochran, GA -
Erin McLeod and Maya Blanche win the title of High Point Rider during the MGA home show in Dublin, GA on the weekend of November 9th-10th. Both riders participate in the Horsemanship and Reining classes.
Despite the chill and the rain, the MGA Equestrian team rallied together to put together our annual home show, taking the initiative on and off a horse during the weekend. Along with their head coach,
Allie Arrington and assistant coach, Julie Warren, the team cheered on their teammates as they competed in their individual classes, with Maya Blanche and
Kaila Stinehelfer winning first in their Reining class,
Elise Bounds and
Erin McLeod winning first in their Horsemanship classes, and Sarah Price winning first in her Ranch Riding class.
Overall, the MGA Equestrian team won Reserve for the entire weekend, a huge accomplishment with being the smallest team in the arena. We'd say that after all our hard work, the show weekend was a success!
