Mobile, AL - The Knights were on the court on Wednesday, May 15th as they were set to play in the NAIA National Tournament. The Knights were the 6-seed and were set to take on the 11-seed Gold Rush of Xavier University. The Knights previously played the Gold Rush earlier in the season as the match and the Knights were looking to come away with the same result. The Knights would start off the match winning the doubles point with wins in the #2 and #3 doubles matches to take a 1-0 win heading into singles play. Singles play would see all but one match go into a third set as the Gold Rush would not go down without a fight. The match would come down to the #4 singles match as the overall match would be tied at 3-3. Guillermo Louis would get the win after losing the first set and coming back to win the second and third sets. The Knights will be back on the court tomorrow at 9 AM CST as they are set to face the 3-seed Seahawks of Keiser University.
