MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Knights men's tennis team has been counting the days until their first Peach Belt Conference action of the season and it came together nicely on Saturday as Middle Georgia knocked off Georgia College by a score of 5-2.
MGA improves to 4-6 on the season with the win while gaining that their first PBC win at 1-0.

MGA had to dig out of an early hole as they dropped the doubles point to the Bobcats as GCSU came away with 6-1 and 6-3 wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles respectively. However the Knights were not done as they regrouped and went to work in singles play.
Junior
Vicente Faria clinched the match for MGA with his 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 5-singles. Prior Faria's clinching match the Knights earned singles points thanks to the good work of
Alejandro Vizoso (6-4, 6-4) at No. 1, Alexander Achour (7-6, 6-3) at No. 3-singles and
Duarte Mestre (7-5, 6-1).

The Knights will have a week until their next test when they are set to host No. 42-ranked Columbus State University at the MGA Tennis Courts in Macon on Saturday, April 4th.
