COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Knights were back on the court on Saturday, April 25th as they were to set to play the 1-seed Cougars of Columbus State University in the semi-finals of the PBC Tournament. The Knights and Cougars played earlier in the season with the Cougars coming out on top, 4-3.
Match Recap
The Cougars jumped to the early lead after winning the doubles point with 6-1 and 6-3 wins. The Knights tied the match up at 1-1 with a 6-1, 6-1 win from
Tamanna Takoria in the #6 singles match. The Cougars won the #1 and #2 singles matches in straight sets as the Knights would have to win the remaining matches to come away with the upset.
Yana Prihach won the first set of the #5 singles match but lost the final two sets as the Knights lost the match 4-1.
