Santino Romeo is originally from Argentina and he enters to his 3rd year as an Assistant Coach of the Men’s and Women’s tennis teams at Middle Georgia State University. Santino joined Middle Georgia State University for the first time in 2017 where he competed for 4 years for our school before becoming an assistant coach. As a player and captain of men’s the team, he has helped them to reach the number #4 spot in the nation and to become SSAC conference champions for the first time in the history of the school. As an assistant coach, Santino has always been part of a championship team as the Women’s tennis team won their SSAC conference championship in 2022 and the Men’s tennis team won it in 2023. Santino is a USPTA-certified tennis professional coach and is looking forward for another year of great success at Middle Georgia State University.
