COCHRAN, GA - The Knights men's basketball team downed the College of Coastal Georgia Mariners 73-65 to improve to 3-0 on the season.  The Knights were led by Antony Edwards with a game high 25 points while Darrell White had 21 with a game-highs of 7 rebounds and 7 assists.  Kinsey Burgess had 11 points with 4 blocks while Tyrone Young was the 4th Knight in double-digits at 10 points.  Kevin Ford tied White for the game-high in assists with 7 and also had 4 steals.  

The Knights jumped out to an early lead by as much as 14 at the 12:35 mark of the first half leading 16-2.  The Mariners fought back cutting the lead to 10 at half with a 36-26 score.  The Knights held the lead at 10-15 points for the first 12 minutes of the second half before the Mariners went on a 9-0 run to cut the lead to 1 for the Knights.  With a 1 point lead, the Knights closed the game on a 9-2 run to win by 8.

The Knights will be on the road for games at Savannah State, Edward Waters (Fl), and Coastal Georgia before opening SSAC play on November 29 against Blue Mountain College (MS) and December 1 against Bethel (TN).
