COCHRAN, GA - The men's basketball team fell to the University of Mobile Rams 65-62 on Thursday, January 10 to move their record to 8-4, 3-4 in SSAC play.  The Rams improved to 6-7 on the year and 3-4 in SSAC play.  The Knights were led by Darrell White with 16 points while Tyrone Young pulled in 9 rebounds.  Marques Hinton had a game-high 5 assists in his return to action.

The Knights fell behind early with the score being tied at 3-3 and 5-5 before the Rams took the lead by as many as 11 in the first half.  The Knights cut into the lead trimming it to 4 with 3:44 remaining in the first half but a 7-2 run by the Rams gave them a 9 point lead going to the break.  The Knights cut the lead to 1 with 5:10 remaining in the second half then trailed by 5 with 2:14 remaining and eventually cutting it to 1 at 61-60 and again at 63-62 but the Rams got a pairl of free throws with 3 seconds remaining to close the game.

The Knights next game is Saturday, January 12 at 3PM against Stillman College before going on the road until January 31 for a busy home February schedule.
