MOUNT VERNON, GA - The Knights women's basketball team fought back to tie the game with 5 seconds remaining but lost in overtime to the Brewton Parker College Barons 74-66.  The Knights drop to 6-10 overall and 2-7 in Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) play.  

The Knights were led by Dexshalyn Polite with a double-double of 26 pionts and 11 rebounds while Ilyn Spann was the only other Knight with double-digits at 11 points.  

The Knights visit Faulkner University (Ala.), Blue Mountain College (Miss.), and Bethel (Tenn) over the next 7 days before returning home to host Martin Methodist College on January 31.
