Montgomery, AL - The Knights traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to take part in the Jimmy Faulkner Classic, hosted by Faulkner University. The Knights were set to take on Florida Memorial University on Friday and the University of Fort Lauderdale on Saturday.

Friday - Florida Memorial University

The Knights started off the game by jumping out to an early lead. The Knights would continue to add onto the lead, going up by as many as 11 points in the first half. The Knights would hit a dry spell as the Tigers would come back to take the lead and the Knights would go into halftime down 48-36. The Knights would fall further behind in the second half as they would be down by 17 points early in the second half. The Knights would start to make a comeback as they would close the deficit down to five points but would run out of gas as they would go on to lose 89-82. Juwan Johnson led the Knights with 22 points as three other Knights would reach double digits.

Saturday - University of Fort Lauderdale

The Knights would come back on Saturday looking to get back to .500 on the season. The Knights would jump out to an early lead again and would not surrender the lead as they would lead the entire first half. The Knights would go up by as many as nine points before going into halftime up 35-34. The Knights would surrender the lead coming out of halftime but would regain the lead on the next shot as the game would be close hafl way through the second half. The Knights would pull away as they would go on to win 74-64. Juwan Johnson would lead the Knights with another 22 point performance.

The Knights will back in action on Monday, November 8th as they host the Mariners from the College of Coastal Georgia. The game will tip-off at 7 PM EST/6 PM CST.
