Box Score Blue Mountain, MS - The Knights were back in action on Saturday as they finished up their SSAC road trip taking on the Toppers of Blue Mountain College.

The Knights would jump out to an early lead, hitting their first two shots but that would be the only shots that the Knights would make in the first quarter as the Toppers would lead the Knights 11-6 at the end of the first quarter. The Knights would find their shooting rhythm in the second quarter as they would start to make some shots. The Knights would quickly take the lead back from the Toppers as they would enter halftime with a 24-22 lead. The Knights would come out of the halftime break sluggish as the Toppers would re-take the lead but the Knights would pull back ahead and take a 43-33 lead into the fourth quarter. The knights would have to hold on to the lead as the Toppers would try to make a comeback but the Knights would prevail with a 51-47 victory. Destanee Wright led the Knights with 14 points and 11 rebounds and Jessica Belcher would add 10 points.

The Knights will be off for the Christmas break until they come back with an exhibition game against Kennesaw State before getting back into SSAC action with a matchup against the Tornadoes of Talladega College on Monday, January 3rd.
