Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on the road Friday and Saturday as they were set to take on the Fire of Southeastern University, who were receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll, and the Tigers of Trinity College. The Knights historically were 0-2-0 all-time against the Fire and were playing the Tigers for the first time.

Friday - Southeastern University

The Knights were playing defense from the start as the Fire got off three shots in the first seven minutes of the match. Callum Bryan would get the Knights first shot in the 10th minute, but the shot would be saved by the Fire keeper. The Knights would be forced to play more defense as the Fire would control the ball for the rest of the first half. The Knights defense would hold as the Knights and Fire would go into halftime tied at 0-0. The Knights would be outshot 9-1 as James Price would save all three shots on goal that he faced in the half. The second half of the match would be a complete turnaround from the first half as the Knights defense would start to crack with the Fire getting on the board in the 56th minute to go up 1-0. The Fire would continue to press on the Knights defense as they would put another shot in the net in the 63rd minute and the Knights would fall behind 2-0. The Knights offense would wake up though in the 81st minute as James Skelton would fire a shot into the net and cut the lead down to 2-1. The Knights would continue to force the issue on offense as they would tie the game up at 2-2 with a penalty kick that was converted by Alvaro Elizari. The match would stay tied and go into overtime. In overtime, the Knights would not be able to get a shot off but the defense would hold strong as the match would end in a 2-2 draw. The draw ends the Knights 10-game losing streak dating back to last season.
