Box Score New Orleans, LA - The Knights were on the road for some SSAC action as they traveled to New Orleans, Louisiana to take on the Wolfpack of Loyola University. The Knights were coming off a close loss against Brewton-Parker and were looking to turn it around. The Knights would start the game off slow, scoring their first basket of the game with 7:03 remaining in the first quarter. The basket would give the Knights some momentum as they would take the lead at the end of the first quarter, 24-19. The Knights would see their momentum quickly fade as the second quarter would be all about the Wolfpack, with the Knights only being able to score 11 points in the quarter and the Knights would trail at the halftime break, 54-35. The Knights would come out of the halftime break looking to make an improbable comeback as the lead would grow slightly at the end of the third quarter as the Knights would continue to trail, 75-53. The Knights would be unable to sustain any kind of run in the fourth quarter as they would end the game with a 93-66 loss. Destanee Wright led the Knights with 23 points as Kassidy Broussard would add 16 points. The Knights will look to end their losing streak on Saturday, January 29th as they continue their SSAC road trip in Hattiesburg, Mississippi against William Carey University. That game will tip-off at 1 PM EST.
