Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on the field for the final regular season conference match of the season as they hosted the Roadrunners of Dalton State College. The Knights went into the match on a five game shutout streak and were looking to extend that streak. The Knights were also without two starters, one with injury and another with yellow card accumulation. The Knights would look like their usual selves in the first half as they would dominate on possession, only allowing one shot by the Roadrunners, but would not be able to convert any shots themselves as the match would go into halftime with a 0-0 score. The Knights would continue to get off shots in the second half but the Roadrunners defense would keep the Knights off the scoreboard. The Knights would fall behind in the 59th minute as the Roadrunners would convert one of their few shots. The Knights would get on the board in the 66th minute as
Hannah Theriault would score on a pass from Nicole Beasley as the Knights would tie the match up at 1-1. The positive energy would not last long as the Roadrunners would go back ahead in the 67th minute as the Knights would have to fight back to get the win or draw. The Knights would continue to attack on offense but would be unsuccessful as the Knights would lose the match 2-1. The loss drops the Knights to the 3-seed for the SSAC Tournament as they will host the Roadrunners again next week. Time and date are still to be determined.
