Brunswick, GA - The Knights were on the road on Wednesday, November 9th as they traveled to Brunswick, Georgia to take on the Mariners of the College of Coastal Georgia. The Knights had already defeated the Mariners once this season at home and were looking to complete the season sweep. The Knights would hit the first shot of the game and never look back as they held a double digit lead only four minutes into the game. The Knights lead would continue to grow throughout the first half, leading by as much as 15 points, before heading into the halftime break with a 41-30 lead. The Knights lead would be cut into by the Mariners in the second half with the Mariners getting to within seven points but the Knights would regroup and increase their lead to as much as 23 points with 4:26 remaining in the game. The Knights would hold on for the 85-68 victory. The Knights were lead by Pierles Brown, who had 25 points, as all five starters for the Knights would reach double digits in scoring. Maliek Sadler would record a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The Knights will have a week to recover as they will not be in action until Thursday, November 17th as they start the conference schedule when they take on the Toppers of Blue Mountain College. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST.
