Montgomery, AL - The Knights were on the road on Wednesday, November 9th as they traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to play in the SSAC Tournament. The Knights were looking to return to the SSAC finals but would have to get through the Running Eagles of Life University first. The Knights would have a strong start as
Hannah Theriault would put the Knights ahead only 58 seconds into the match. The Knights would continue to try and attack as they would have multiple offside calls. The Knights looked to be heading into halftime with a 1-0 lead until the Running Eagles would score a goal with only two seconds left in the first half. The Knights would look to break the tie in the second half but the Running Eagles would do it first with a goal in the 62nd minute. The Knights would look to answer back to try and force overtime but would be unable to do so as the Knights would lose 2-1. The Knights were outshot 11-8. The Knights will have to wait until Monday, November 14th to see whether they will get into the NAIA Opening Round with an at-large bid.
