Cochran, GA - The Knights were back in action on Tuesday, November 29th as they hosted the Running Eagles of Life University. Both teams were picked to finish the season at the bottom of the SSAC standings so the matchup looked to be a good one. The Knights would start the game off slow as they would quickly fall behind in the first quarter. They would be able to regroup as they would come back late in the quarter as the score would be 15-15 at the end of the first quarter. The second quarter would start out as a back and forth battle before the Knights would slowly fall behind and they would head into the halftime break down 32-25. The Knights would come out in the third quarter on fire as they would go on a 14-0 run to take a 39-32 lead and would continue to gap the Running Eagles as they would end the third quarter with a 45-34. The Knights would continue to pull away in the fourth quarter, going up by as much as 16 points, before the Running Eagles would make it an interesting game by the end of the game with the Knights holding on for the 63-57 victory.
Kassidy Broussard led the Knights with 26 points with
Destanee Wright adding 23 points. The Knights will have a long break before their next game as they travel to Mobile, Alabama on December 15th to take on the Rams. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 PM CST.
