Albany, GA - The Knights were back in action on Sunday, September 11th as they hit the road to take on the Golden Rams of Albany State University. The Knights were looking to find some offense as they had gone the last three matches without scoring any goals. The Knights offense took some time to get going as the Knights would not have their first shot until 19:40 into the first half. Once the offense found its rhythm, the Knights got rolling as they would have multiple shots before finally finding the back of the net in the 32nd minute as
Sofia Rosenqvist would score her first goal of the season. The Knights would score another goal just before the halftime break as
Tatjana Steinau would find the net for her second goal of the season. The offense would continue to control the game as the Knights would keep rolling with another goal in the 62nd minute as
Jade Elling would score her first goal of the season. The offense would die down afterwards but the Knights would tack on one more goal late in the match from
Jamya Brinson and the Knights would win the game 4-0. The Knights dominated the match, outshooting the Golden Rams 10-1. The Knights will return to action on Friday, September 16th as they travel to Savannah, Gerogia to take on the #18 Bees of SCAD-Savannah. Game time is scheduled for 5 PM EST.
