Savannah, GA - The Knights were back in action on Saturday, September 17th as they traveled to Savannah, Georgia to take on the Bees of SCAD-Savannah. The Knights were looking for their first win of the season as they have been showing signs of improvement in recent matches. The Knights and Bees would go back and forth with offense to start off the match as both teams would get off a few shots. The Knights would break through in the 15th minute as
Alique Skerritt would put the ball in the back of the net, his second of the season, to put the Knights up 1-0. The Knights would face an onslaught of shots after the goal but
Joshua Kaandorp would make a number of saves to keep the Knights ahead. The Knights would concede a goal late in the first half as the score would be tied at 1-1 going into halftime. The Knights would continue to face a high number of shots in the second half as the Knights would fall behind after goals in the 62nd and 69th minutes. The Knights would put together some offense late in the match but could not get any shots to find the net as they would lose the match 3-1. The Knights will be back in action on Tuesday, September 20th as they welcome #5 St. Thomas University to Nesmith Field. The match is scheduled to start at 7 PM EST.
