Cochran, GA - The Knights were back in action on Monday, January 16th as they hosted the Tornadoes of Talladega College. The Knights were coming off of two tough losses and were looking to right the ship. The Knights looked good early as they would score the first five points of the game to jump out to an early lead. The Tornadoes would close the gap to one point before the Knights would pull away again, building up an 11 point advantage. The Knights would let the Tornadoes close the deficit down to five points before taking the game back over and extending their lead to 16 points before heading into the halftime break up 38-26. The second half of the game would see the Knights lead slowly whittled away as the Tornadoes would get back into the game and the game would be tied at 56-56 with 4:53 remaining in the game. The Knights and Tornadoes would battle back and forth before the Knights would gain a seven point lead with 2:07 remaining in the game and would hold on to win 69-64. Pierles Brown led the Knights with 20 points and Maliek Sadler would add on 13 points. The Knights will be back in action on Thursday, January 16th against the University of Mobile as they look to take their record above .500. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST.
