Marietta, GA - The Knights were on the road for a mid-week conference matchup as they traveled to Marietta, Georgia to take on the Running Eagles of Life University. The Running Eagles were receiving votes in the latest NAIA poll and the Knights were looking to get off of their short losing streak with an upset victory. The Knights would start off the game going down by five points but would quickly bring the deficit back as they would tie the game at 9-9. The Knights would take the lead from the Running Eagles and hold it for much of the first half as the Knights would lead the Running Eagles 36-30 at the halftime break. The Knights would hold on to the lead until the Running Eagles would tie the game at 42-42 with 16:39 remaining in the game. The Knights would surrender the lead and were unable to retake the lead as the Running Eagles would get out to a comfortable lead and the Knights would lose the game 79-69. Pierles Brown led the Knights with 16 points as Andrew Prestwood, Jayce Moore, and Brice Martin would each reach double digits in scoring. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, December 2nd as they host the Eagles of Faulkner University. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 PM EST.
