Cochran, GA - The Knights were back in action on their home court on Saturday, December 2nd as they hosted the Eagles of Faulkner University. The Knights came into the matchup on a two game losing streak and were looking to end that streak. The game would get off to a good start for the Knights as they would quickly jump out to a five point lead. The lead would grow to six points but the Eagles would come back late in the quarter and the game would be tied at 15-15 going into the second quarter. The Knights would jump out to another five point lead in the second quarter but the Eagles would come back again as the Knights would end up trailing 30-25 at the halftime break. The Knights would come out of the break slow as the Eagles would grow their lead and the Knights would trail 50-37 at the end of the third quarter. The Knights would make an attempt at a comeback in the fourth quarter as they would cut the lead down to six points but the Eagles would hold on as the Knights would lose 64-56. The Knights were led by Vanessa Samuel with 13 points and Chloe Pollock would add 11 points. The Knights will have an extended break due to the holiday season as they will be back in action on Thursday, January 4th when they travel to Mobile, Alabama to take on the Rams of the University of Mobile. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM CST.
