Talladega, AL - The Knights were back in action on Tuesday, February 7th as they traveled to Talladega, Alabama to take on the Tornadoes of Talladega College. The Knights defeated the Tornadoes earlier in the season at home and were looking for the season sweep. The game would start off with both teams making their first few points at the free throw line. The game would be close throughout the first half as neither team could sustain any momentum until late in the half when the Knights would go up by eight points. The Tornadoes would make two three-point shots at the end of the half to cut the Knights lead down to 26-24 at halftime. The Knights lose the lead coming out of the break as the Tornadoes would score the first eight points of the second half but the Knights would not let the Tornadoes pull away as they would slowly eat into the lead. The Knights would keep the game close until the last minutes of the game as the Tornadoes would creep away and the Knights would lose the game 74-67.
N'Kyzie Hawkins led the Knights with 14 points as three other Knights would reach double digits in scoring. The Knights will be back in action on Thursday, February 9th as they host the Eagles of Faulkner University in the final home game of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST.
