Montgomery, AL - The Knights were on the road on Tuesday, April 11th as they traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to take on the Eagles of Faulkner University. The Knights were coming off of a sweep of Brewton-Parker and were looking to keep the momentum. The Knights would come out slow in the first game as they would only get two hits throughout the game and would end up giving up four runs as the Knights would lose 4-0. The Knights would have better luck in the second game of the series. The Knights would score first in the third inning on an RBI single from Alexis Cosgrove as they would take a 1-0 lead. The Knights would score another run in the fifth inning as Madisyn Riggins would hit an RBI single and the knights would go up 2-0. The Knights would hold on for the victory as Riggins would pitch the complete game shutout, allowing four hits and striking out four batters. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, April 15th as they host the Eagles on Senior Day. First pitch is scheduled for 1 PM EST.
