Indianapolis, IN - The Knights were back in action on Wednesday, May 17th as they played on the final day of the NAIA Opening Round. The Knights were set to take on the 1-seed Knights of Marian University. The Knights were looking for the win to make it into the championship game and get the rematch against Columbia College. The Knights would give up one run in the second inning as they would face an early 1-0 deficit. The would give up another three runs in the fourth inning and another run in the sixth inning as the Knights would go on to lose 5-0. The Knights would only get three hits as their season comes to an end with a record of 43-14, the most wins in school history.
