Hattiesburg, MS - The Knights traveled to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to take part in the SSAC Tournament. The Knights entered the tournament as the 4-seed and would play the 5-seed Wolfpack of Loyola University. The Knights would fall behind early as they would give up one run in the second inning and three runs in the third inning and would fall behind 4-0. The Knights offense would have chances throughout the game but would be unable to drive in any runs as they would lose the game 4-0. The Knights would come back on Thursday to take on the 1-seed Crusaders of William Carey University in the losers bracket. The Knights would start the game off giving up three runs in the first inning. The Knights would give up three more runs in the third inning but would score a run in the bottom half of the inning on a Crusaders error. The one run would be all the offense the Knights would be able to put up as they would go on to lose 14-1. The Knights will now wait to see if they will be selected for an at-large bid for the NAIA Opening Round.
