Pulaski, TN - The Knights were back in action on Thursday, January 25th as they traveled to Pulaski, Tennessee to take on the Firehawks of UT-Southern. The Knights previously defeated the Firehawks earlier in the season and were looking to have a repeat performance on the road. The Knights would get off to a slow start as they would fall behind 10-0 to start off the game. The Knights would score their first points with 4:11 remaining in the first quarter and would trail 20-9 at the end of the quarter. The deficit would continue to grow in the second quarter as the Knights would trial by as much as 24 points as the Knights would go into the halftime break down 37-16. The Knights would hold their own in the third quarter as they would keep the Firehawks in check as the deficit would be 20 points at the end of the third quarter. The deficit for the Knights would grow to 26 points in the fourth quarter but the Knights would close the gap late as they would lose 71-52. The Knights were led by Vanessa Samuel and Brianna McRae, each with 12 points. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, January 27th as they remain on the road to take on the Tigers of Stillman College. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 PM EST.
