Mount Vernon, GA - The Knights were back on the road on Thursday, October 24th as they wrapped up their season with a conference matchup against the Barons of Brewton-Parker College. The Knights were coming off of a draw against Lagrange College and were looking to end the season on a high note.
The Knights would show that they wanted to win as they would outshoot the Barons in the first half 9-4 but they could not break through as the score would remain 0-0 at the halftime break. The Knights would catch their break in the second half as
Chase Giron would score in the 55th minute to put the Knights up 1-0. The Knights defense would put up an outstanding performance as the Barons would be kept scoreless and the Knights would win the match 1-0.
Aymerick Joly would get the shutout win, making five saves on the night.
The Knights finish the season with a record of 5-7-5, 2-6-2 SSAC as they move forward into NCAA D-II and the Peach Belt Conference next season.
