Macon, GA - The Knights were back in action on Wednesday, October 9th as they hosted the Panthers of NCAA D-III Lagrange College. The Knights previously played the Panthers in a close match that went five sets with the Knights on the wrong side of the results.

The Knights would start out even with the Panthers but a five point streak would give the Knights an 8-4 lead early in the first set. The Knights would hold the lead throughout the rest of the set as they would win 25-17. The Knights would have another good start to the second set as they would jump out to a 7-3 but the Panthers would score three straight points to close the gap. The Knights would then go on a seven point streak to take a 14-6 lead and they would go on to win the set 25-20. The Knights would get out to a 4-1 lead in the third set and would not relinquish the lead for the rest of the set as they would win 25-18. Yanelis Rodriguez led the Knights with 11 kills while Graysen Lallier and Ellie Johnson would each add 10 kills, Aubrie Beard and Ellie Johnson would each have 18 assists, and Paige Collier would lead with 18 digs.

The Knights will have some time to rest before their next match when they travel to Pulaski, Tennessee to take on the Firehawks of UT-Southern on Friday, October 18th. Tip off is scheduled for 6 PM CST.
