Thomasville, GA - The Knights were back in action on the road on Saturday, November 16th as they went to Thomasville, Georgia to take on the Nighthawks of Thomas University. The Knights were riding a wave of momentum, having won their last three games.
The Knights would take an early lead but the Nighthawks would keep the Knights in check as the game would remain close. The Knights and Nighthawks would trade the lead multiple times in the first half until the Knights would use a nine point run to end the first half and take a 33-23 lead into halftime. The Knights would continue to lead throughout the second half, extending their lead to as much as 14 points, before the Nighthawks would start to mount a comeback. The game would be tied at 70-70 with 14 seconds remaining with the Knights drawing a foul with five seconds left in the game to go to the free throw line.
Nick Cham would hit both free throws and the Knights would take the 72-70 win. Cham led the Knights with 22 points as
Trashawn Wilson would add 21 points.
The Knights will be back on the road on Monday, November 18th as they travel to Valdosta, Georgia to take on the Blazers of Valdosta State University in an exhibition game with their next true game coming on Tuesday, November 19th when they travel to Montgomery, Alabama to take on the Eagles of Faulkner University. Tip off is set for 7:30 PM EST.
