Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on their home court on Saturday, February 10th as they hosted the Crusaders of William Carey University. The Knights were coming off of a close loss to the University of Mobile and were looking to be on the right side of the score this time around. The Knights and Crusaders would play a close first half as the largest lead for either team would be five points as the Knights would trail 32-28 at the halftime break. The Knights would come out of the halftime break slightly cold as the Crusaders would jump out to a nine point lead but the Knights would use a 9-0 run to tie the game at 42-42. The Crusaders would take control of the game and have a 12 points lead with 4:11 remaining in the game. The Knights would use a 13-2 run late in the game to close the deficit down to one point but would be unable to take the lead as the Knights would lose the game 77-73.
Adarius Oliver led the Knights with 18 points and
Brice Martin would add 17 points as
Johnny Kittles would contribute 13 points off of the bench. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, February 17th as they travel to Dalton State College to take on the Roadrunners in the final road conference game of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 PM EST.
