Cochran, GA - The Knights were back in action on Saturday, February 10th as they hosted the Crusaders of William Carey University. The Knights were coming off of two tough losses and were looking to get back to positive outcome at home. The Knights would not get off to the start that they wanted as the Crusaders would score the first six points of the game as the Knights would be outrebounded in the first quarter 9-2 and the Knights would trail at the end of the first quarter 23-9. The size difference between the two teams would continue to show in the second quarter as the Knights would be unable to secure more rebounds and the Knights would trail 37-16 at the halftime break. The Knights would start to show some signs of life in the third quarter as it be their most productive quarter of the game so far but the Crusaders would continue to hold the lead with the Knights trailing 58-29 at the end of the third quarter. The Knights would start to mount a comeback in the fourth quarter as the lead would slowly start to shrink. The Knights would eventually run out of time as they would outscore the Crusaders 29-12 in the fourth quarter but would lose the game 70-58.
Keiane' Rollins led the Knights with 16 points off of the bench as
Brianna McRae would add 13 points and Lashuana Coley would add 11 points. The Knights will be back in action on Tuesday, February 13th as they travel to Denmark, South Carolina to take on the Tigers of Voorhees University in their final non-conference game of the season. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 PM EST.
