Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on their home court on Wednesday, February 21st as they hosted the Skyhawks of Point University. The Knights previously defeated the Skyhawks on the road earlier in the season and were looking to have the same result at home. The night would not get off to the start that the Knights would have wanted as they would not score their first point until 4:40 remaining in the first quarter. The Knights would not be to far out of the game though as the Skyhawks would also shoot the ball poorly throughout the first quarter and the Knights would only trail 11-6 at the end of the quarter. The deficit for the Knights would grow to 12 points but the Knights would make some shots late in the second quarter and they would only trail by four points going into the halftime break. The Knights would tie the game at 25-25 in the third quarter but the Skyhawks would pull away as the Knights would fall behind by nine points going into the fourth quarter. The deficit would grow to 11 points before the Knights would mount their comeback. The Knights would close the gap down to one point but would be unable to take the lead as they would go on to lose 59-54. The Knights were led by
Brianna McRae with 12 points as
Lashauna Coley and
Keiane' Rollins would each add 11 points. The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, February 24th as they host the Barons of Brewton-Parker College in the final regular season game. Tip-off is scheduled for 12 PM EST.
