Montgomery, AL - The Knights were back on the court for the third day in a row as they were set to take on the Crusaders of William Carey University in the Championship match of the SSAC Tournament. The Knights were in a tough spot after having to play all their matches against Mobile and were taking on a Crusader team that defeated the Knights earlier in the season. The Knights would lose the first doubles match to finish but would win the second as the match would come down to the #1 doubles match, which the Knights would lose as they faced a 1-0 deficit going into singles play. The Knights would get a win in the #1 singles match from
Martin Carrizo as they would tie the match at 1-1 but the Crusaders would win in the #5 singles match and the Knights would be down again. The Knights would fight back as they would win the #6, #2, and #3 singles matches to take the title.

The win for the Knights gives them back-to-back titles and their third in the last four seasons. The win also evens up the head-to-head matchup against the Crusaders as the Knights are now 2-2 against them in the championship match. The Knights secure an automatic spot in the NAIA National Tournament, which takes place in Mobile, Alabama, starting May 14th.
