Montgomery, AL - The Knights were back on the field on Saturday, September 21st as they traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to take on the Eagles of Faulkner University. The Knights went into the match on a four match unbeaten streak and were looking to pick up their first conference win of the season.
The Knights would be on the defensive side of the ball for most of the match as the Eagles would score first in the 12th minute. The Knights would answer back in the 17th minute with a goal from
James Skelton to tie the match at 1-1 but the Eagles would score three more goals in the first half and the Knights would face a 4-1 deficit going into halftime. The Eagles would add on two more goals in the second half and the Knights would lose the match 6-1. The Knights were outshot 23-8 in the match.
The Knights will look to correct some mistakes before they hit the road again on Thursday, September 26th as they travel to Hattiesburg, Mississippi to take on the Crusaders of William Carey University. That match is set to kick off at 8 PM CST.
