Macon, GA - The Knights were back on their home court a say later than expected after weather forced a postponement of Friday's match against Point. The Knights would take on the Running Eagles of Life University. The Knights lost on the road to the Running Eagles and were looking to exact some revenge.
The Knights would look good as they would get off to a 3-1 lead as they would maintain a lead throughout most of the match. The Knights would lose the lead late in the first set but would battle back to win the set 27-25. The second set would not get off to as good of a start as the first set as the Knights would fall behind 3-1. The Knights would get behind by five points but would show some resolve as they would to force the set into extra points when they would win the last four points of the set to win 26-24. The third set would be all for the Knights as they would win the first eight points of the set and they would win the set 25-15. The Knights were led by
Yanelis Rodriguez with 17 kills and
Caitlyn McCall Wolf with 14 kills,
Ellie Johnson would have 40 assists, and
Paige Collier would have 27 digs.
The Knights will be back in action on Friday, 4th when they host the Wolfpack of Loyola University. That match will tip off at 6 PM EST.
