COCHRAN, Ga. - The Knights were back in action on Friday as they were set to host the Fillies of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. The Knights had a string of one goal losses and were looking to end that string against a Fillies team that was having a rough season.
The Knights did not have to wait long before they had the lead as
Safiya Dean scored the first goal for the Knights 16 seconds into the match. The lead only grew as
Chloe Baladi added her hat trick with goals in the 13th, 15th, and 17th minutes to put the Knights up 4-0. Two goals by
Fiona Madigan and a goal by
Tegan Mullins rounded out the scoring in the first half as the Knights had a 7-0 advantage heading into halftime. The Knights kept scoring in the second half as they scored 11 goals in the half with three coming from
Glenna Whitley as they won the match 18-0. The Knights out shot the Fillies 48-3.
The Knights will be back in action on Saturday, October 11th as they head to Albany, Georgia to take on the Golden Rams of Albany State University. Kick off is scheduled for 7 PM EST.
