Cochran, GA - The Knights were back on their home court on Monday, February 10th against the Stallions of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. The Knights were coming off of a big upset against Dalton State and were looking to ride that momentum into another win.
The Knights looked to be in for a long night early on as they fell behind 7-4. It would not take them long to find their groove against as they had a double digit lead with 7:35 remaining in the first half. The lead remained between eight and 12 points throughout the rest of the first half with the Knights leading 40-28 at halftime. The Knights defense turned up the pressure in the second half as they started the half on a 16-3 run. The lead reached 30 points with 9:47 remaining in the game and the Knights put in the reserves in the final four minutes of the game as they went on to win 81-56.
Trashawn Wilson led the Knights with 14 points as
Jamal Taylor (13 points),
David Ganious (12 points), and
Nick Cham (12 points) each reached double digits in scoring.
The Knights will be back in action on Thursday, February 13th when they travel to Marietta, Georgia to take on the Running Eagles of Life University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST.
