Mount Vernon, GA - The Knights were on the road on Saturday, February 22nd as they played the Barons of Brewton-Parker College in the regular season finale. The Knights looked to rebound after a tough loss to Thomas University.

The Knights and Barons looked evenly matched as both teams held the lead early in the first half. The Barons jumped out to a five point lead but the Knights fought back to take a 14-13 lead with 10:53 remaining in the first half. The game remained close until the Knights slowly started to pull away, reaching a ten point lead with 3:13 remaining in the half. The lead remained at ten points going into halftime as the Knights led 36-26. The Barons got within six points early in the second half but the Knights started to pick up the pace as they jumped out to a 17 point lead with 12:38 remaining in the game. The Barons cut the lead down to seven points late in the half but the Knights stopped the momentum and went on to win 78-66. Milique Smith and Bryce Turner each had 15 points to lead the Knights with David Ganious adding 13 points and Jamal Taylor adding 12 points.

The Knights finish the regular season with a 17-7, 13-5 SSAC record to finish third in the SSAC East. The Knights will await the results of other conference games as they will play the 2-seed from the SSAC West in the SSAC Tournament.
