Montgomery, AL - The Southern States Athletic Conference announced the Men's Basketball awards on Wednesday, February 26th. The Knights were represented in multiple categories. Milique Smith was named to the First Team All-Conference. Smith averaged 14.8 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game while recording 11 double-doubles on the season. Nick Cham was named to the Second Team All-Conference. Cham averaged 13.5 points per game, scoring a season high 23 points against Dalton State on February 8th. Three Knights were named to the Barnes & Noble College All-Academic Team. To be eligible, athletics must have a 3.25 GPA on a 4.00 scale. Those Knights were Chase Lawrence (3.63), Shane Nealis (3.91), and Andrew Prestwood (3.36).
